Sandy Rea
Vocalist & Songwriter
Duke City Rose lead vocalist Sandy Rea is a skilled entertainer whose passion for vocal music began at the tender age of six. Influenced by legendary and modern blues and country artists, Rea blends traditional blues sound with contemporary tone and rhythm to produce a soulful sound all her own. “It’s a gift to entertain an audience and empty the performance ‘tank,” Rea said.
David King
Guitarist
With roots planted firmly in the blues and a style of play shaped by his life-long love of jazz-rock, Duke City Rose lead guitarist David King blends soulful riffs with dynamic, expressive solos to produce a uniquely powerful sound. “We want our audiences to enjoy the modern, edgy blues and country music we love,” King said. “Join us on our journey - it’s powerful stuff!”
Scott Strelecki
Bassist & Songwriter
A versatile and grounded musician with an instinctive feel for Blues and Rock, bassist Scott Strelecki brings a low-end, smooth vibe to the Duke City Rose rhythm section. Whether laying down solid blues notes or powering a high-energy tune, Strelecki said, “I put the music first. I want the heart and tone to grab you and keep you – that’s what it’s all about.”

Drummer
Providing the perfect pulse for our unique sound, drummer Andres Baca blends the soulful groove of the blues with the hearty backbone of country. “We sometimes joke that we’re a blues band with a country music habit,” Baca said. “I’m here to keep the rhythm while we blend and bend the two genres.”
